Kokoda Youth Experience

We visited HMAS Creswell where a group of youths were in the middle of team building exercises, they’re preparing themselves to tackle the Historical Kokoda trail in Papua New Guinea. Kokoda can prove to be a difficult walk with high temperatures and humidity prior training is recommended.


"I think there is no greater challenge than doing that track" Geoff Coates said.

Boolarng Nangamai Aboriginal Centre

Most people have heard of Gerringong, a spectacular surfing town with plenty of things to do. However, quietly tucked away is the Boolarng Nangamai Aboriginal Centre.

This place is unique, not only because of its remoteness and its special connection to the specific area around it but because of how it came together.

The Boolarng Nangamai Aboriginal centre, which started as a one-woman concept over ten years ago, now acts as a model centre for traditional and developing aboriginal artistic talent all over the country
